Stavropol SAU was visited by the participants of the youth interconfessional forum "The Caucasus is our common home"

In SSAU guests were familiarized with the material and technical base of the University, they had a tour of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Service and Tourism, in the laboratory of 3D modelling "FabLab" Vector "and in the new modern hostel №5 on Pushkin Street.

For the first time the forum was organized in 2008 on the basis of the Spiritual and Educational Centre of the village of Rizdvyany.

It is held in the framework of the regional program "International relations and the support of the Cossacks" by joint efforts of Stavropol and Nevinnomyssk diocese, the Department of Youth Affairs of the Stavropol diocese, Michailovskoye Cossack society Orthodox youth movements "Soboryane" and "City of the Cross", the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Stavropol Krai, the administration of the city of Stavropol, as well as with organizational and financial support from the government of the SK, the Stavropol Krai Committee for Nationalities and Cossacks.

All these years, the project brings together like-minded people, the youth initiative of Stavropol Territory and republics of the North Caucasus. Its main goal is the development of friendly relations between the two religions - Orthodoxy and Islam.

For ten years, the project participants have more than 500 people. They were hospitably received in different parts of the North Caucasus - villages Ryzdvyany, Dombai, Solnechnodolsk, in the city of Nalchik, in the villages Kazinka, Sengiley, and this year the venue of the anniversary, the 10th Forum was in the regional centre.
