In Brussels (Belgium) took place the annual forum of the European Foundation for Quality Management "EFQM – 2015", which was attended by the Vice-rector for academic and educational work of the Stavropol State Agrarian University I. V. Atanov, the Head of the center for education quality management E. V. Khokhlova and Manager of the center for education quality management G. V. Dub.

The European Foundation for Quality Management was founded in 1988 by presidents of 14 successful world-known European companies (“Bosch”, “BT”, "Bull", "Ciba-Geigy", "Dassault", "Electrolux", "Fiat", "KLM", "Nestle", "Olivetti, Philips", "Renaul", "Sulzer", "Volkswagen") with the assistance of the European Commission. Currently EFQM brings together over 700 leading organizations in Europe and the world who are interested in raising their competitiveness by improving management practices and quality of products and services.

Stavropol State Agrarian University is one of three universities in Europe, who during 22 years of existence of the European competition has achieved a high level of the Winner of the European Excellence Award of the EFQM (EFQM "Excellence Award").

Stavropol State Agrarian University is:

- a finalist for the EFQM European Excellence Award (EFQM "Excellence Award – 2008");

- the winner of the EFQM European Excellence Award (EFQM "Excellence Award – 2010");

- the winner of the Prize European Award for excellence of the EFQM (EFQM Excellence Award – 2013").

During the event, representatives of well-known companies – "Robert Bosch GmbH" (Germany), "Robert Bosch" (France), "VAMED – KMB" (Austria), "Wakefield District Housing" (UK), "Coca-Cola Icecek" (Turkey), "ISS" (Estonia), BMW (Germany), Philips (the Netherlands) – shared the experience of running a successful business in modern conditions, spoke about innovative methods of work, allowing to maintain or to enhance competitiveness, using the criteria of the EFQM Excellence Model. Among the speakers were General Director of company "BMW Plant Regensburg" Andreas Wendt (Germany), former Executive Director of the company "Dyson" Martin McCourt. (UK), owner of 10 successful companies Klaus Kobyoll (Germany), Dame Helen Alexander, a representative of the University of Oxford (UK), etc.

The event was finished by the ceremony of awarding the winners, prize-winners and finalists of the EFQM European Award for Excellence ("EFQM Excellence Award – 2015"). Winners were the company "BMW Group Plant Regensburg" (Germany) and "WDH" (UK). Prize-winners – the company "Bosch Car Multimedia" (Portugal), "Cabinet d Orthodontie Becker & Associes" (Luxembourg), "Coca-Cola Icecek As Bursa Plant" (Turkey), "Robert Bosch Rodez Plant" (France), "Robert Bosch" (Germany), "sakaya bar University" (Turkey), "Sanitas Hospitales" (Spain), "VAMED-KMV" (Austria). In the final, the "General Directorate of IETT" (Turkey), "Geriatrische Gesundheitszentren" (Austria), "Messa Fibre Oy" (Finland), "Pierburg Gestion" (Spain), "SCLE SFE" (France).
