Participation in the Moscow International Model of United Nations

Students of the Faculty of Economics O. Onezhkina and V. Markarov took part in the Moscow International Model of United Nations at Moscow State Institute of International Relations, presenting the position and problems of countries such as Myanmar and Columbia. Model of United Nations - a role-playing game, in which the students reproduce the work of UN bodies. The ultimate aim of the work is the adoption of resolution on this issue.

Opening the event, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs A.K. Pushkov. The participants listened to a lecture by Professor of International Relations D.V. Ivanov, "the United Nations in the modern world." The master of the Russian TV journalism Nina Zvereva presented presentation on oratory and public speaking. The meeting with a famous TV journalist, TV presenter, the first president of the Russian Television Academy Vladimir Pozner, he answered the questions of the participants. During the meeting, the delegates were united in a coalition, a draft resolution and amendments. The participants got certificates.
