Strengthening of International cooperation

The Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University Vladimir Trukhachev was handed the resolution (Decree) on his election as valid foreign member of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Slovakia. This was announced at a visiting session of Economics and Management Department, Slovak Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Also at the meeting of the Academy V.I. Trukhachev made a presentation in which he spoke about the present stage of development of the Stavropol State Agrarian University and the possibilities of international cooperation.

The last question has been raised repeatedly during business trip of the Rector to Slovakia, during which a number of important agreements were signed.

In particular the cooperation agreement between the Stavropol State Agrarian University and the Higher School of Economics and Management in Bratislava (Slovakia) was signed by the Rector of SSAU, Professor V.I. Trukhachev and the Rector of VShEiM, Professor V. Tsibakova.

Also during the visit Vladimir Trukhachev met with the General director of the Slovak National Centre for Agriculture and Foodstuffs, Professor Stephen Mihin, where they discussed the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.
