Master class from the chef passed as "excellent"

4th year student of the Faculty of Technological Management, speciality "Food of animal origin" under the direction of associate professor of technology of production and processing of agricultural products I.A. Trubina met with one of the most popular gastronomic projects - Street Food - in the framework of the master class by Vladimir Pavlov, known chief-cook, moderator of the TV channel "Food" (St. Petersburg).

The master class was held in the exhibition center "Stavropol". Street food from local products of better quality is the gastronomic trend of the last decade. "We cannot yet boast Michelin chiefs - said V. Pavlov - but the idea of gourmet fast food is our rapid response and is growing rapidly." Street Food has always inspired famous chiefs: Chinese dimsam, Spanish tapas and American burgers have become part of the menu of famous restaurants. But today, gastronomic street food triumphantly returned to the streets and attract investors with their prospects and potential for growth. After all, the audience of consumers of fast food is huge: from students and schoolchildren to couriers and many office workers.

Our students got acquainted with the peculiarities of the technology of preparation of burgers, formatting rules of meals and serving. "The ability to master the technology of Street Food means to be in the trend and introduce high standards of quality in this popular segment of the food market", - commented future technologies of production and processing of agricultural products on the results of the master class. And the burgers made by the students at the master class got an excellent mark from their gastronomic curator: all products were eaten by workshop participants with appetite.
