At the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Technological Management of SSAU there was a meeting of graduate students with the Chief Veterinary Officer Paul Zavyalov and Chief Zooengineer Sergey Terpilov of the agricultural firm "Village Voroshilov." Delegated experts, teachers and students of agrarian university discussed topical issues of training and employment opportunities for agricultural graduates.

Employment is a relevant issue for students and graduates of Russian universities. Stavropol State Agrarian University is trying to solve it in advance, seeking cooperation with potential employers, listening to their needs and trying to meet their needs. To achieve maximum employment of graduates in their professions is a key challenge for the higher education institution. Over the past five years, the University has trained more than 10 thousand specialists for the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. More than 80% of graduates are working in his native province.

"Village Voroshilov" Ltd. is one of the largest agro-industrial enterprises in Stavropol region, with a complete production cycle: from the cultivation of feed and management of their own dairy herd to milk processing and sale of dairy products.

The meeting was held at a constructive level because both sides were very interested in cooperation. You cannot train qualified specialist without the participation of employers, senior experienced mentors, who in practice can show to future livestock specialists, veterinarians, agronomists, engineers peculiarities of their professions. Representatives of the agricultural firm "Village Voroshilov" told the students about the possibilities of acquisition of practical skills in the enterprise, professional development, noted what experts they lack. Production practice which is work of students in real conditions of an agricultural firm makes tomorrow's graduates and heads of departments of the enterprise look to each other to communicate. Agricultural firm " Village Voroshilov "is interested in the further employment of graduates of the Agricultural University, - said Pavel Zavyalov, - because it trains excellent staff including specialists graduated from the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Technological Management. We know a lot of graduates of SSAU who became the leading agricultural veterinarians, technologists in large agricultural industries. Therefore, we invite students to try to "taste the profession" in agrofirm "Village Voroshilov."I am sure nobody will regret!"
