Scientific authority and Rector's experience - in the service of society

Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University V.I. Trukhachev was elected a member of the Management Board of the Free Economic Society of Russia.

Election of new Board of Free Economic Society of Russia took place in the framework of the anniversary congress " Free Economic Society of Russia: 250 years in the service of the Fatherland." Free Economic Society today is an organization with offices in almost all regions of Russia. In his address to the congress, held in the Hall of Union, the President of Russia V.V. Putin said that "based in the distant 1765, Imperial Free Economic Society brought together under its aegis prominent scientists, statesmen, politicians, writers, entrepreneurs - people educated, enthusiastic, sincerely worried about the fate of the fatherland".

Company brings together more than 11 thousand organizations, about 300,000 scientists, economists and practitioners, employees of state and public enterprises and organizations, new commercial structures.

President of the Free Economic Society of Russia G.H. Popov sent to the rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University V.I. Trukhachev a greeting in which he expressed confidence that his "enormous prestige, experience, hard work and talent of a manager will contribute to the further prosperity of the Free Economic Society of Russia."

Members of Free Economic Society of Russia joined forces to form a public opinion on the most important issues of economic development, actively cooperate with government agencies, provide estimates of the various projects and programs, conduct research work, consult the representatives of the federal, regional and local authorities on the current economic policy.

Today Free Economic Society of Russia is considered an important institution of civil society, contributing to the development of trends of modernization, scientific, technical, socio-economic and intellectual development of the Russian society.
