Employees of FabLab "Vector" of the Faculty of Farm Mechanization young scientists E.V. Kulaev and D.S. Kalugin participated in the V Innovation Forum of Krasnoyarsk Territory "Engineering Show" (Zheleznogorsk). The main objective of the communication platform of the competition of ideas and projects is the formation of an effective system of engineering education and the creation of a permanent platform for the support of engineering and business initiatives, start-ups.
The forum held a meeting of the Association of Centres of youth innovative creativity of the Russian Federation (CYIC) which was attended by representatives of seven centers of the cities of Russia: St. Petersburg, Kazan, Penza, Stavropol, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk and Zheleznogorsk. Today in Russian universities, which designed FabLabs (unique modern laboratory and technical creativity), there is a breakthrough technology and intellectual potential which can implement the most ambitious projects, struggle for new markets.
The forum programme also included a festival of robotics "ROBOTEH - 2015" which E.V. Kulaev and D.S. Kalugin attended as experts.
Our scientists shared their impressions and plans: "For ourselves, we have seen a variety of projects in the field of robotics and decided to develop a school of robotics as part of a joint project with the faculty of electric power engineering. Also, we set the task of creating a summer playground for testing both robots and quadrocopters. "
"Engineering Show" continued the tradition of the youth platform of innovation forums to attract talented engineering, science and business youth in solving urgent problems of the cluster of innovative technologies as well as supporting new and interesting projects, which in practice embodies the motto of the show - "Think profitable!".
