How to manage finances

At the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the official closing of the All-Russian project "Financial literacy for students" was held. It was attended by the vice-rector on the academic and educational work of the SSAU I. V. Atanov, the manager of the Stavropol branch № 5230 ПАО Sberbank R. V. Romanenko, the dean of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of the SSAU E.I. Kostyukova, the head of Financial Management and Banking Department J. M. Sklyarov, the deputy director of Management Regional Call Centre of ПАО Sberbank V. F.Tylypa, a specialist of the Department on work with the personnel of the North-Caucasian bank of ПАО the Sberbank E.G. Bolotov, bank employees and teachers of the financial the Management and Banking Department.

The "Financial literacy for students" has been developing in the framework of the long-term cooperation between the Stavropol State Agrarian University and the North Caucasian Bank of Sberbank and has positive results. Thus, in 2013 the Agrarian University became a pilot area in the territory of the North Caucasus Federal District for the project "financial literacy workshops at schools and universities." Each year as a part of the All-Russian Day of the financier, a staff of the North Caucasian Bank of Sberbank conduct for university students numerous master classes, public lectures, workshops on a variety of topics: "The merging of the banking and insurance business in Russia", "The integration of new technologies with the banking business", " Integrated development of youth banking in Sberbank ", “Features of integration of Sberbank and Russian banks in the world financial community "," Sberbank is a new bank: lintehnology, crowdsourcing, Oliver Wyman, Wikinomics ","Economic Security in lending "and many others. In turn, the representatives of the North-Caucasian bank take part in training courses at the base of the Institute of additional professional education of the University and implement of additional educational programs "Management of personal finances" and "Basics of banking." 2015-2016 academic year was no exception. In October 2015, the SSAU implemented a program "Financial literacy - 2015", in which 18 events were held for 800 students and faculty members. In addition, students are introduced to the corporate culture of the bank and employment opportunities in offices of Sberbank in the Stavropol Territory and the republics of the North Caucasus.

At the end of the project, the most active students and teachers of Accounting and Finance Faculty were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts, also a unique collection of Educational and Practical Center "Mini-banks" was replenished with a series of books "Library of the Savings Bank."
