The student center of civil and patriotic education "Patriot" of the Agrarian University organized a debate on the theme "t is necessary to limit democracy to be effective in the fight against terrorism."
The debate was attended by the teams of the Economic and Financial Accounting Faculty. As an audience the team of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine actively participated in the debate. Discussion of the problem was of a stormy and emotional.
"We are pleased that we have a platform where we can share our views. They are all quite different, but they all have the right to exist - the participants shared their impression. We have came to the conclusion that in the fight against terrorism and extremism we need prevention, and criminal liability is necessary. If, starting from infancy, children will instill respect for other religions, different nationalities, different class, the society will become tolerant, and we will achieve a lot. "
At the end of the discussion, the students came to the conclusion that it is important to maintain good relations with each other in the present circumstances. We need to cultivate an internal culture that allows to live in peace with people of differing religion, skin color, language and nationality. Then we do not have to limit democracy and to toughen penalties for crimes of a terrorist and extremist nature.
