Factors of Student Tourism development in Russia

The Delegation of Stavropol State Agrarian University as part of the teachers and students of the Faculty of social and cultural service and tourism took part in the National Forum "Student Tourism in Russia."

The Forum was held in Saratov on the basis of State University. It united the experts in the field of tourism, student from different parts of our country. Participants discussed not only current practices but also prospects for the development of student tourism in Russia, mechanisms of cooperation, based on the possible points of growth, current trends in the tourism industry.

The forum was held by the Ministry of Education and Science with the assistance of the Federal Agency for Tourism and Russian Geographical Society in the framework of the program of activities of student associations. The event used a variety of communication formats and discussion platforms, which allowed to discuss a large number of methodological and theoretical aspects of modern tourism.

At the round table devoted to the main theme of the forum, assistant of the department of tourism and service of our university S.I. Andreyanova made a report. She told the participants of the forum on the development of tourism in the North Caucasus, as well as the methodological development of the topic in Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Terminology and methodology, resources and people, hiking and trekking, and the availability of mass - all this became the basis for a new vision of the student tourism. As a result of the forum was formed resolution. The main theses of the final document were voiced director of the Center for Research and Development of Youth Tourism V.R. Kokorev. He thanked the participants of the forum for the activity and named three main factors that have been identified in the discussions and are necessary for the development of student tourism. These are people, resources and tools.

At the end of the business areas, the forum participants visited the tourist camp, night City-tour and the interactive tour "Saratov is waiting."
