Honored Academic Choir staff and faculty of the Stavropol State Agrarian University became the winner of the International Festival Competition "Art unites the world - Christmas Olympus", which took place during the Christmas holidays in Sochi.
During five years the festival gathers creative teams and soloists of all genres from Russia and other countries of the world. Competitive performances on nominations, master classes, round tables, excursions are in its program.
Our team awarded the diploma of the winner of the first degree in the nomination "Folk Vocal" for the performance of Russian folk song arranged by A. Lukanina "As the sea" and the traditional Easter hymns "Christ is Risen".
The international festival-competition "Art unites the world - Christmas Olympus" has a humanitarian focus, and aims to create additional conditions for the search of new forms and the synthesis of a variety of arts: music, dance, singing, theater, visual and others.
Honored Artist of Russia, Chairman of the Union of Composers of the Kuban, chairman of the jury V.A.Chernyavsky noted the high mastery of singing a capella by Honored Academic Choir staff and faculty of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. “The works presented choir under the direction of V.I. Korotkov, - said the musician, referring to the choristers, - a worthy embodiment of your vocal skills, which allows to touch the world heritage art of singing. Our festival promotes the preservation and development of national cultures and create an atmosphere of respect for the historical and cultural values of our country and other countries, which creates a unique atmosphere of creative festival.”
