Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University V.I. Trukhachev received a letter of gratitude from the Director of the Department of state policy in the sphere of education of children and youth A.E. Stradze for his personal contribution to the organization of the National Forum "Development of Students’ Tourism in Russia" and the promotion of tourism among students of educational institutions of higher education.
At the end of 2014, the delegation of Stavropol State Agrarian University in the composition of lectures and students of the hospitality and tourism faculty took part in the National Forum "Students’ Tourism in Russia." The Forum was held in Saratov on the basis of State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky. It united the experts in the field of tourism and students from different parts of our country. Participants discussed not only current practices but also prospects for the development of students’ tourism in Russia, mechanisms of cooperation, based on the possible points of growth, current trends in the tourism industry.
"Following the forum, - said V.I. Trukhachev – it was decided to open a non-profit organization at the university, on the basis of which the youth tourist club will be created. The main activity of this association will be to develop students’ tourism in Stavropol Krai and in the whole region. "
The rector expressed his confidence that the students will actively support the project and will contribute to the successful implementation of programs aimed at the tourism industry transition to innovative way of development, in an attractive sphere of social activity.
