The team "Big Seven" is the champion of SSAU on Corporate Finance

In SSAU finished II Championship of Stavropol State Agrarian University on corporate finance.

The initiator and organizer of a unique educational project that allows students to demonstrate to top management of investment companies and banks their knowledge in the subject area of Corporate Finance, as well as the ability to prepare presentations, justify and defend the calculations made.

The championship was attended by students of Accounting and Finance Faculty and Economics Faculties of majors "Economics" and "Management". Correspondence stage of the championship was launched in December 2015, according to the results of which there were identified seven best teams.

The jury includes representatives of businesses: retail sales manager of the branch of LLC “Rosgosstrakh” in Stavropol E.V. Zaitseva, sales manager of financial services of JSC “FINAM” (representative office in Stavropol) A.A. Vlasenko.

In internal stage of the Championship on Corporate Finance team fought in five contests. They presented portfolio, solved case studies and did homework. The students also participated in the creative competition. Championship finished with contest of captains, who were to show erudition and wit in solving themed puzzles.

The victory in the II Championship of Stavropol State Agrarian University on Corporate Finance was gained by a tem “BIG SEVEN” (4^th year of study of major “Economics” profile “Finance and Credit”), in second place - the team “Goddess of Finance” (3d year of study major “Economics” profile “Economics of enterprises and organizations”), the third - the team “Tax masters” (4^th year of study of major “Economics” profile “Tax and Taxation”).

The winner in the nomination “For team creativity” was the team “Business Lady” (3rd year of major “Economics” profile “Accounting, analysis and audit”). Team “With money - To us” won in the category “Financial Elite of the University” (4^t year of major “Economics” profile “Finance and Credit.) Team “Successful students” was awarded with a special prize “For the corporate spirit” (3rd year of major “Economics” profile “Global Economy”). In the nomination "For creativity" the team “Progress” won (2d year of major “Management” profile “Human Resources”).

Active students were awarded with diplomas in the individual competition. So, Ekaterina Kvekveskiri became the winner in the category “Best Analyst”, a diploma in the category “Financial Genius” gained Yulia Gusenitsa. Alina Murashkina was awarded the diploma in the nomination “Innovative Approach”, Yulia Khizhnyakova won in the nomination “Financier of the Year”. “Miss’ Corporate Finance’” was Julia Adzhahmetova, and in the category of “Mister ‘Corporate Finance’” won Dmitry Sabynin.
