SSAU team won the Grand Prix at the student festival

Students of Agrarian University melted the ice of rink in Victory Park with bright emotions, sparkling humor, team cohesion and skill of skaters and завоевали the Grand Prix at the student festival.

On the "Tatiana's Day" students prefer to celebrate the holiday merrily and loudly. Everyone knows the student never misses a chance to take a break from studying; according to the proverb, from the endless celebrations just "hot" time-session distracts him.

Festival dedicated to the Day of Russian Students «Tatiana’s day or Shurik’s adventure» was devoted to the Year of Cinema in Russia.

Teams gathered at the Victory Park to celebrate brightly the holiday date marking the closure of the winter session and the beginning of long-awaited holidays.

The head of administration of Stavropol A. Dzhatdoev welcomed the students. He said that the regional capital was a young and groovy city due to the fact, that there are more than a hundred thousand of young students. Almost every fourth resident of the city is a student, ready to bring great benefit to the region and the country, to change the world for the better. According to the tradition A. Dzhatdoev took part n a scene of symbolic "tail" cutting of negligent student who did not pass the exam on time.

Teams of Stavropol universities prepared improvised farmsteads, where they represented the selected Soviet film. Our students portrayed heroes of Gaidai’s famous comedy «Diamond Hand». SSAU delegation presented art spots at the festival nominations: the best farmstead "I demand the continuation of the banquet", the largest cheerleading squad - "Bambarbiya kergudu", best student suit - " Trousers are turning into…", visiting card on ice - " Everybody dance!" and ice relay - "The ice was broken, ladies and gentlemen!"

SSAU visiting card proved to be the most cheerful, stylish and colorful. The students were awarded with the main prize of the jury in this competition. For the special virtuosity the master student of the Technology Management Faculty Semyon Semyonov was awarded with highly-valued gift of Trade Union Federation of Stavropol Region.

There were also contests and sports competitions. Guys were not frozen and bored – they competed in skill skating with different subjects: ball, hoop, - peeled potatoes racing each other, and in the end – all together "skated" to the festival finish.

Each student team received numerous prizes and souvenirs from City Center for Youth Project, the organizers and partners of the event. But the main prize was presented to the SSAU team! Our students were the best!

- Events of active student life forever remain in the memory as the best time, when you open a lot of opportunities and everyone has a chance to prove himself, fulfill all plans. Our team showed not only remarkable inventiveness and wits but also the strong cohesion. I would like on behalf of the student union committee to thank everyone who took part in the preparation of costumes, invented scenario, prepared props and, of course, participated in the festival. I think nobody regretted that he had spent nearly four hours at the January frost. We did not feel it! On the contrary, it was hot from the flurry of emotions, laughter, and fun. This day, I'm sure, will be remembered by all the guys, - Head of Student union committee of SGAU Nikolai Golovin said.
