23 undergraduates of Stavropol State Agrarian University became the participants of business game in Rostov-on-Don, where in such a format the second audition of Vladimir Potanin’s Scholarship contest took place.
In the competition program, our undergraduates have shown abilities, teamwork, in making quick decisions and adapting to new conditions. The experts had the task to evaluate the academic potential of the participants, their dedication and professional experience, social activity and originality. This year, evaluating the results of two rounds, experts will determine the 500 winners who will receive a Vladimir Potanin scholarship of 15 000 rubles, starting from February, 2016 till their graduation. This year the Fund received nearly 6000 applications from graduate students. Following the results of the examination after the first round were selected 1929 semifinalists, who participated in the second, full-time, round.
Vladimir Potanin’s Charity Fund - one of the first private foundation in modern Russia. It was created in 1999 by the businessman Vladimir Potanin to implementation of large-scale programs in the field of education and culture.
The mission of the Fund is to promote the development of charity in Russia, the formation of the social environment where the values are creativity, professionalism and volunteer activity. The Fund supports gifted and intelligent people, those who are able to change and willing to help others.
