Lessons of "School of business training for young people" at SSAU.

Students of 1 - 3 courses of Accounting and Finance Faculty were trained at "School of business training for young people."

The training took place at Stavropol State Agrarian University within the framework of All-Russia People’s Front "for the rights of borrowers" and programs on financial education "Credit fairway." The two-day workshop was devoted to the volunteers preparation on the program of financial education.

The event was attended by 70 students of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, where 29 were selected for the next stage of studying.

Under the leadership of Moscow trainers, students were trained in practical skills of drawing up personal financial plan; preparation for independent financial management; raised the level of knowledge about the work of the banking system and basic financial products and services.

Coordinators of the event were the departments "Finance, credit and insurance" and "Financial Management & Banking» of Accounting and Finance Faculty.

Training on "Analysis of the credit decision-making effects" was aimed at developing skills to make informed credit decisions in different circumstances; to compare different loan options and their results; to choose the most secure form of loans in order to protect against adverse effects.

Business game "Personal financial plan" involves drawing up individual plans, taking into account all incomes and expenditures, development of skills of short- and long-term planning, the competition for the best plan. Students were tested on financial literacy, and were able to ask their questions to the experts.

The second day was devoted to trainings "Features of financial products" to identify the specific characteristics of financial products and "Reconciliation of opinions", aimed at the ability to work independently and in a team, communication and identification of leadership qualities.

As a result of All-Russia People’s Front project "For the rights of borrowers" were chosen the best students who will continue their studies in four areas: consumer right protection of financial services, crisis financial planning, credit fraud and financial decisions. Vladimir Avakian, Natalia Marchenko, Alexandra Eremina, Vladimir Ashcheulov and Gavriil Avakian were awarded the diplomas of winning the financial education program. The organizers of trainings directed the letter of thanks to V.I.Trukhachev - the rector of SSAU for given professional help and a great contribution to improving the financial literacy of citizens and their awareness of economic issues.
