The teachers of the department "Power supply and operation of electrical equipment" Faculty of electrification, under the direction of professor V. Y. Khorolskiy published guidelines "Reducing electricity consumption in electrical production facilities of agricultural organizations."
The recommendations proposed organizational and technical measures to save energy by using lighting, electric heating and electric drive systems. The authors examine the issues of improving the energy characteristics of electric cars; advise how to choose and use electric actuators; justify the application of technical means to ensure the optimal performance of the drive, as well as the use of compact fluorescent lamps. The information on the replacement for electronic ballasts; the use of voltage regulation devices; automation of lighting installations; improvement of operating electric heating systems is provided. The theoretical material is supported by practical examples of electricity saving in various installations.
The publication is designed for specialists of agricultural energy service companies, it will also be useful to students.
