National science was never beaten paths. Russian scientists, in spite of any difficulties and do make a huge contribution to the development of our country, the world's progress, the world contributing to successful advance of our entire civilization. Glad to know that a great contribution to the Russian science makes Stavropol State Agrarian University. The scientific achievements of our scientists is widely known in Russia and abroad, they come to the most important innovation projects in the region and contribute to the success of socio-economic development of the Stavropol Territory.
Our University is a leader in the publishing activity. Published annually more than 20 thousand scientific publications, including the central Russian journals and foreign editions - in 2015 the number of such publications was more than 6000 articles. Each year, the university researchers receive more than one hundred patents involved in the ground programs. Among our colleagues are President Grant winners for the state support of young Russian scientists, the 102 winners of UMNIK program of the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the scientific and technical sphere. Every year, to support talented young researchers awarded by Grants and awards University of Science and Innovation for Young Scientists prize fund is 2 million RUB.
Over the past two years, research and development and innovation projects of our scientists were presented at 160 exhibitions and salons. These events were attended by 575 employees of the university. As a result of exhibition activity has been won 782 prizes, including 211 medals. These successes elate feeling of pride for their home university.
Achieving significant results is possible due to powerful material and technical base, world-class equipment, which today are equipped with the university laboratory, a modern platform for experimentation and dialogues, new achievements in science and creativity.
I wish the scientific community to the health and happiness of the university, determination, inspiration, smart and talented students, bold ideas, the success of their implementation and inexhaustible energy in this way.
