Further training on the program "Varietal adaptive agriculture policy: the organization of high-quality seed and monitoring of field, vegetable, melon crops and gourds and feeding root crops. Fundamentals of testing were held at the Institute of additional professional education. The course was held by professors of the faculties of land resources and agrobiology, ecology and landscape architecture of the university, as well as practitioners.
The main and leading agronomists, agronomists-seed growers of 34 agricultural enterprises and organizations of Stavropol region have studied the problems of graded policy, legal framework for the activities of varietal and seed control of field, vegetable, melon crops and feeding root crops, accreditation of selectors of samples from the batches of seed crops. The listeners took a look at instructions for testing varietal planting field crops and sampling of seed material, documents governing the conduction of seed control and accreditation of selectors’ samples of seeds of agricultural plants, preparatory work for the validation and registration of graded crops, accreditation of selectors of seed crops.
After the final certification of all graduates of the training program were awarded with certificates of advanced training of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
