The exhibition of scientific works of doctor of technical sciences, professor V.Ya. Khorolsky takes place in the library of the SSAU

As part of the project of the scientific library "popularization of scientific publication activities of the scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University" in information and library resource the exhibition "scientific works of doctor of technical sciences, professor Vladimir Jakovljevich Khorol was organized".

The exhibition presents more than 50 scientific and educational publications, including recognized by the winners of the All-Russian contest "Agrarian educational book" and contest of educational and scientific literature in the nomination "Best book on conventional media."

Scientists have created more than 200 scientific papers: 6 monographs, two textbooks, 23 manuals including those published under the imprint of academic methodological association and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, 30 patents for inventions and utility models. The fund of the library contains a large number of scientific and academic publications which helped to study more than one generation of students of the faculty for electricity. Vladimir Yakovlecvich Khorolsky forms part of the top 100 most-cited and productive Russian scientists according to RISC in the specialty "Electronics".

In the scientific library series of events at the exhibition presentation are held. One of them was attended by the author, doctor of technical sciences, professor V.Ya. Khorolsky, his students and colleagues - head of the department of electricity and electrical equipment, candidate of technical sciences A.V. Efanov, candidate of technical sciences, assistant professor of electricity and electrical equipment V.N. Shemyakin, students of the faculty for electricity, the staff of the scientific library.

Many warm words were said by the colleagues and students against their teacher. Professor Khorolsky spoke about the importance of creating textbooks and teaching aids for university science, the history of writing his scientific works, showed the manuscript of the book. At the end of the meeting Vladimir Yakovlevich gave farewell to the students: to learn excellent, to pursue science, to understand the importance and necessity of their chosen profession.

The scientific library plans to continue working to promote the publication activities of scientists of the Stavropol State Agrarian University within which the exhibitions of scientific works of the University's leading scientists will be organized.
