Members of the department "Tourism and service" K. Y. Mikhailova, S.I. Andreyanova and Vice-Rector for career-oriented work A.N. Marin visited Izobilnensky district, where a seminar and meeting on the strategic development of rural and ethnographic tourism was held.
The reports of our colleagues on the tourist routes design technology; branding and promotion of tourist services caught the interest of the heads of administrations of local settlements and the Cossacks. Many participants of the meeting noted that initially they were skeptical about the tourism development in the region, but after the presentations of our specialists they changed their minds and gave thought to such prospects, a wealth of the ethnographic, cultural and historical heritage of their small homeland.
The Head of Administration of Izobilnensky district, V.I. Kozlov thanked the guests for their cooperation and clarification of the aspects of strategic planning and tourist destinations management. He gave the task to the Heads of the district communities to intensify work in this direction and expressed his intention to cooperate with the Faculty of hospitality business and tourism of the SSAU regarding research, training and methodological support for the development of tourism activities in Izobilnensky district of the Stavropol Territory.
