The festival "Nanofest" ended at SSAU

Within three days the Stavropol State Agrarian University has lived with scientific ideas, developments, heated discussions on the subject of modern technologies.

All of them were offered by the organizers "Nanofest" - program "Innovation workshops" Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs RUSNANO with the support of Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory.

The festival, which includes screenings of popular films, lectures on nanomaterials, business events, dedicated to the use of innovations in agriculture, examples of the successful application of solar energy in Russia, as well as master classes for popularizers of science and nanotechnology, taking undergraduate and postgraduate students, participated young scientists of the University participated in it.



- The program "Innovation workshops" operates in 15 cities of Russia. In its popular scientific activity students and graduates of 19 universities are involved. The main goal of "Nanofest" - shows how to create and apply domestic nanotechnology, and to promote a community popularizers of science, technology and nanotechnology, - commented on the work of the festival director of the Directorate popularization FIEP Sergei Filippov. - Today, The Fund of infrastructure and educational programs creates the technological, human and regulatory framework for the development of Russian nanotechnology industry. For us it is extremely important that the society understood the importance of nanotechnology for the development of a competitive economy of Russia.



Vice-rector for scientific and innovative work of SSAU Vitaly Morozov said that the festival brought together a galaxy of Stavropol SAU creative, gifted young scientists. International format of series events has caused great interest and attracted the attention of current and future nanotechnology industry professionals. On business sites Agrarian University master classes for the popularization of science, lectures on the use of innovation and nanotechnology materials in agriculture. The first show was held in the format of a scientific duel of Young Scientists Science Slam Nano, the participants of which for 10 minutes in available and interesting form talked about their research and development for a wide audience.
