Glorified athlete of SSAU won the Cup "Heraklion"!

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Physical Education and Sport Nina Muhortova became the winner of the Russian championship in weightlifting at the Cup of the Foundation "Heraklion"!

She established a record of Russia in the movements and in the amount (weight category 69 kg). The competitions were held in the older age groups and among young people by assigning categories. Addressing the participants of the senior coach of the competition Oksana Slivenko said: "I received a lot of emotions and energy charge of our veterans who continue to perform and retain good spirits at any age! Thank you for the motivation!" President of the Foundation Sergey Eremin noted that veterans-weightlifters are an example of sports longevity and maintaining high shape. Achievements of tournament winners confirm these words. International Master of Sports N. Muhortova, commenting on his performance at the championship of Russia, noted that today in competitions in weightlifting women take an active part. This reflects the desire of "the weaker sex" to be physically strong, harmonious, have good health and a beautiful figure. "And we, the athletes, - said Nina Vyacheslavovna - is still very important to show high sports results and make a contribution to the treasury of our university achievements."
