On the economic faculty of the Stavropol State Agrarian University the diplomas were awarded to the winners of the regional stage of II All-Russian Olympiad for students and postgraduates of Russian business history.
Diplomas of the first degree were given to: Y. Gulevskaya - PhD student of Accounting and Finance Faculty (academic adviser – associate professor of the Department of Financial Management and Banking E. Lapina), Y. Hitrik - Master student of economic faculty on the direction of "Economics of firms and industrial markets", A. Reutov - Bachelor of of economic faculty on the direction of "Economics of enterprises and organizations".
Olympiad was held in order to preserve the historical memory of Russian entrepreneurs who made a huge contribution to the development of the Russian state, of individual regions and settlements. In the works of the participants various thematic aspects were considered: the role of entrepreneurship in the state's history, positive and complete image of the entrepreneur, features of this profession in our time. Such activities develop students' interest in entrepreneurship history and educate the patriotic attitude to the Motherland of younger generation.
Olympics took place in the framework of the joint project of "Business Russia", the Russian Historical Society "The history of Russian entrepreneurship" and the All-Russian action "100 great businessmen and philanthropists of Russia".
Federal Phase of II All-Russian Olympiad will be held in Moscow on 28-29 March 2016 on the basis of the historical faculty of the Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov.
