SSAU students successfully passed the financial literacy test

Students of Accounting and Finance Department under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Financial Management and Banking passed the exam on the financial literacy.

The test was held in the framework of the project of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation " Population assistance to support the level of financial literacy and financial education in the Russian Federation" and the All-Russian Week of financial literacy for children and youth.

Exam was in the text format. It’s main task - to help young people to assess their level of financial literacy, to learn something new and to consider the importance and responsibility of financial decision-making. Test questions have been specifically designed for younger audiences and based on the main practical areas of the financial life of citizens: income and expenses, financial planning and budget, personal savings, loans, insurance, investments, risk and financial security, consumer protection, general knowledge of the economy and the financial arithmetic basics. After all, the main audience of the week of financial literacy were children and young people aged from 10 to 25 years. Focus on the target audience allows you to capture the related audiences: parents and young people over 25 years, the administration and teachers of educational institutions.

In this context, there were invited guests, i.e. specialists of financial and credit sphere of Stavropol: R.P. Davyidov, director of the training center of the Ministry of Finance of Stavropol Region; N.I. Gerasimenko, the coordinator of the regional program "Enhancing financial literacy level of the population of the Stavropol Territory and the development of financial education in the Stavropol Region in the years 2014-2016."; A.N. Zolotarev, director advisor, V.Y. Zimovtsev, deputy chief of the maintenance of credit projects, K.A. Sivakozov, an economist at credit project analysis department of small and micro business of Stavropol regional branch of JSC "Russian Agricultural Bank"; E.A. Malahova, head of retail products sales of the Stavropol branch of PJSC "MTS-Bank", V.V. Lang, head of retail product sales, E.V. Gluhontsova, business coach, O.S. Kovalenko, leading specialist of JSC "Gazprombank" in Stavropol.
