Formation of the agricultural industry innovation system is the main factor of agricultural production efficiency

The rector of SSAU V.I.Trukhachev attended a meeting to discuss topical issues of statistical monitoring and the introduction of advanced and innovative technologies in agriculture, which took place at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. At the joint meeting of the section "Priority research and innovation in agriculture" and "Agricultural education and agricultural consulting" scientific-technical council of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, chaired by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Elena Astrakhantseva, the participants of the meeting discussed possible forms and methodology, as well as questions practical testing of the system of statistical monitoring of the implementation of advanced and innovative technologies in agriculture. The event was also attended by Director of the Department of scientific and technological policy and formation of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Elena Metelkova, head of "Biotechnology in Agriculture" cluster of biomedical technologies "Skolkovo" Foundation - Roman Kulikov, deputy head of the Federal Service of State Statistics (Rosstat) Konstantin Laikam, representatives of the scientific community and rectors of other agricultural universities.
