Students of accounting and finance faculty visited the museum and exhibition fund of the Department of the Stavropol Region of South Main Directorate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
The tour took place in the framework of the project "Assistance to improve the financial literacy of the population and the development of financial education in the Russian Federation" and the regional program "Improving the financial literacy of the population of the Stavropol Region and the development of financial education in the Stavropol region in the years 2014-2016".
The students were introduced to the formation of the Bank of Russia and the history of the development of banking in the Stavropol Region as well as looked at the collection of banknotes of Russia and other countries. The observed caused great interest.
The origin and formation of banking system of the country have deep historical roots, so the study of the science of the banking industry is impossible without the excursion into the past of the state.
