Master-class on the creation of a favorable microclimate in a residential area

The teachers of the faculty of ecology and landscape architecture held a public workshop on gardening interior of living spaces.

At present special attention is paid to the creation of interior environments a beneficial effect on the human body. The elements of nature are increasingly included in the set of institutions, places of recreation, some industrial, municipal, cultural, educational, residential and other premises.

For example, the Winter Garden of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, where one of the stages of the master class was held - is an example not only of natural areas for scientific study of the properties of tropical and other plants but also the practical application of them in the interior, creating ecological space with a favorable microclimate.

Interactive session was held by teachers of the department of ecology and landscape construction O.A. Pospelova, R.S. Eremenko, Ph.D. student A.O. Kasatkina and 4th year student of direction "Landscape architecture" E. Ivannikova.

Growing of tropical houseplants is a great art which requires special knowledge and skills. It provides a basis of interior decoration - an important element of the composite composition. The participants of the master class learned in class the features of vertical gardening, new trends in the design space as well as the transplantation technology and care for the plants of tropical and subtropical latitudes.
