"When the soul is singing, the whole world is beautiful!"

In the Stavropol Palace of children's creativity the anniversary concert of Honored Artist of Russian Federation, the head of National Academic Choir of teachers and employees of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, Valery Korotkov took place - "When the soul is singing, the whole world is beautiful!"

This year the famous artist turned 65 years. More than 300 artists, great musicians from Stavropol Region, Krasnodar, Moscow, associates and students of the Maestro took part in the gala concert.

To the celebrant appealed the first persons of the city and the region, representatives of science and culture. They expressed Valery Korotkov words of admiration as a true virtuoso of his craft, entirely devoted to "its majesty the song." Rector of the SSAU V.I. Trukhachev concluded his greeting words: "Your work, great and generous talent are worthy of the deepest recognition. Let your honor never applause!"

The talented choirmaster is the creator of many art groups: chamber choir of sacred music, choir of patriotic songs of veterans of war and labor, song and dance ensemble "Border guard of Caucasus", exemplary choir "Spring" of the City Palace of children's creativity, vocal ensemble "45 parallel" and concert –interested union "Accord" of the city Stavropol.

For six years he presents the people's academic choir of staff of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, which skill is noted by the wins at festivals of Russian and international levels.

Attaching people of all ages to the song Valery Ivanovich instills a love of art, opens wide audience serious works, multiplies the singing richness of our region.

Valery Ivanovich is the medal chevalier "For Services for the Stavropol Region". Choirmaster’s name is well known in other regions of the country.

The event ended with the performance of choral compositions by Dmitry Bortnianskiy "Perennity" and awarding of the jubilee with memorable sign of the administration of Stavropol 'For the great contribution to the socio-cultural sphere of the city".
