At the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land Recourses teachers of the Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Plant Physiology held a meeting with a representative of a strategic partner of Stavropol branch of LLC "FOSAGRO Region", the general director of LLC "FOSAGRO Stavropol” A.A. Tikhonov.
Principal direction of “FosAgro” activity is the production of phosphate fertilizers, high-grade phosphate raw materials (with P2O5 content 39% or more) - apatite concentrates and feed phosphates, nitrogen fertilizers and ammonia.
Participants discussed issues of field, production and demonstration experiments on a number of crops (maize (under irrigation and rainfed, sunflower, winter wheat) and soils typical to the regions of the North Caucasus Federal and Southern Federal districts, with the introduction of liquid complex fertilizers (HCS). This fertilizer has high efficiency and speed compared to solid fertilizers, crucially important during the spring field work. Scientists and practitioners have laid experiments on winter wheat farms LLC "Lutch" in Novoselitsky region and LLC "Agriholding" Krasnogvardejsky " in Krasnogvardeisky district of the Stavropol Territory.
