In the Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted the International Festival of Youth patriotic project "Remember the past - think of the future", dedicated to 71-th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The festival was attended by more than 300 representatives of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of Stavropol region: Stavropol Civil Engineering, Alexander Agricultural College, North-Caucasian Federal University, Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute, the Stavropol branch of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, Stavropol State Agrarian University. The festival was actively supported by patriotic activists of Stavropol Regional Public Movement "Banner of Victory".
Deputy of the State Duma of Stavropol region, the chairman of the regional Council of veterans were invited to the event A.A. Gonochenko, deputy chairman of the Council of veterans of the Leninsky district E.I. Sereda, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, A.S. Ponomarenko. Veterans warmly welcomed by students, addressed to them kind words of encouragement.
The project activities of the patriotic clubs and associations in the field of patriotic education of youth have been summarized at the festival of patriotic youth projects. It was evident that the young people of Stavropol have a serious and profound achievements in the development and implementation of projects aimed at promoting patriotism. Meeting patriotic associations in the festival format promoted activization of cooperation of student youth organizations patriotic edge.
The festival was organized by the department of educational work and social affairs and the Center of civil-patriotic education "Patriot", the student union committee of SSAU.
