Students of the 3rd year study of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, profile "Accounting, analysis and auditing" of SSAU presented their view on the forms of annual financial statements during the competition, which has been held for the fourth time on April 25 under the artistic direction of associate professor V. Germanova.
"Accounting is accurate, but it is not a boring job as might appear at first sight. For the specialist every form has its own "face" and “character”. Students made short videos and prepared humorous speeches", - said a lecturer of Financial Accounting Department, the author and the developer of the competition Victoria Germanova.
Five teams, one from each group of the 3rd course, competed in quick-wittedness for three rounds of the competition.
As a first step participants presented reporting forms f in comic format. So, the team of the 4th group presented special forms of Agro Business Industry as accounting elite force. Girls even wore camouflage on this occasion. In short, a good accountant will wander off from any verification auditing, especially if it is a graduate of SSAU.
In the second round the team had to solve a profession crossword puzzle for 20 minutes. And while the jury awarded points, contestants warmed up in accounting: they raved and stormed in a literal sense.
Anyone familiar with a situation, when in a fit of indignation you want to tear, crumple and throw in the basket a result of your efforts, if it was not quite successful. This kind of relaxation helps people of mental labor to buck up and find the strength to start again.
Participants of the contest not only crumpled the forms and got them into the baskets; they also called aloud a line from the report form, which came under the hot hand.
The most successful was the team of the 1st group, which introduced "Report on financial results."
"It is much easier to remember a lot of information in the form of a game. And in the game all the participants are involved - 10 people from each group, and the audience - the other 20 people ", - explained Victoria Germanova.
All teams have coped with the tasks successfully.
The winners received diplomas and delicious gifts.
