“Bookkeeping Oscar” was awarded for the first time in the Agrarian University

“Bookkeeping Oscar” was awarded for the first time in the Agrarian University, once again demonstrating that the accountant is a creative profession.

Annual competitions, quizzes, brain-rings on accounting became a good tradition at Accounting and Finance Faculty of SSAU. The year 2016 was declared the Year of Cinema in Russia. And so it was decided to be creative in the field of cinema. Terms of the contest were to combine accounting and cinema.

The teams, which included only professionals, accounting experts, who are not afraid of unusual problems, had to compete in three competitions.

In the competition "Greeting" the teams had to introduce themselves, being creative, using accounting terms. In the competition "Quiz on Accounting" the teams had to demonstrate their knowledge in the field of accounting and answer questions of varying difficulty.

The competition "Oscar video" concluded the event. Each team presented their short film motion picture worthy of the Oscar. And the jury had to assess the best of the submitted videos.

Cinema is the most interesting and mysterious in the world of industry. Probably everyone once wanted to get into it, but, unfortunately, only a few can do it. All that we can see is a completed film on the screen, but most of the interesting things in this industry still remains behind the scenes and is hidden from the eyes of curious spectators.

According to the results of three competitions won the team of "Our People in Hollywood" ("Finance and Credit"), the second place was shared between two teams: "Red Reversal" ("Economics of enterprises and organizations", "Global Economy") and BW (“Accounting, analysis and audit”). All participants were awarded with certificates and tasty prizes. The winners in various categories were selected during the ceremony. In the category "Best Actress" won Victoria Ushakova, the 2^nd year student of the Faculty of Economics. In the category "Best Actor" won Igor Tereshchenko, 2^nd year students of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance. In the category "Best Original Screenplay" won the team "Our People in Hollywood." In the category "The Best Film" won the film, presented by a team "Red Reversal".
