Young Russian vets gathered in the finals of the All-Russian competition of scientific works at the Stavropol Agricultural University

Fifty young researchers from 32 agricultural universities of the country have gathered today on the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University to participate in the III stage of All-Russian competition for the best scientific work among students, graduate students and young scientists of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation in the area of "Veterinary Medicine".

Participants of the contest among the students (25 people) presented their research papers in the category "Veterinary Medicine", another 25 post-graduate students and young scientists presented research in the category "Veterinary science".

Geography of participation is from Yakutia, Altai and Primorye to St. Petersburg, the Urals, Siberia, Central Russia and the North Caucasus.

On behalf of the Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, doctor of agricultural sciences, doctor of economic sciences, professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev and from the many thousands staff of the university, SSAU Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, associate professor V. Y. Morozov welcomed contest participants.

He expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation for their confidence for the final contest in the nominations "Veterinary Medicine" and "Veterinary science" and introduced the members of the expert committees on both nominations.

"You are already the best. Today we met with you, be sure to make friends, and our meetings, our communication will become a good tradition. I'd like to emphasize the importance of our competition. Our universities combine the same problem; we understand each other's problems. Competing with each other, we achieve perfection. Young scientists actually contribute to the prosperity of their region and Russia as a whole. It is up to our perseverance, diligence and creative exploration depends on the prosperity of the motherland ", - said Vitaly Yurevich.

He congratulated the scientific community on the occasion and wished "every success in achieving its goals, daring ideas and their successful implementation!"

The first two stages of the competition took place in the 54 agrarian universities of the country in all federal districts. There have been identified strongest from the best representatives of educational institutions in the federal districts. Tomorrow, 25 May, the competent high-level professionals’ expert committee sums up the results and determine the winners of the all-Russian level in each category.
