There was annual conference which summed up the scientific year results in 81^st time at Stavropol State Agrarian University

It was opened by SSAU vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Associate Professor V.Y. Morozov.

He stressed that during the year the scientists, graduate students and students at various conferences and scientific forums made more than 500 reports. Young researchers successfully participate in the All-Russian level. In particular, the University of adequately represented in the final of the All-Russian competition for the best scientific work among students, graduate students and young scientists of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation in various areas. SSAU became the base for the final of this prestigious competition in the direction of "Veterinary Medicine", leaving two "silver" awards which are equal in quality "gold".

During the conference theses of the strongest work sounded which were presented by faculties.

In particular, Professor of Private animal husbandry, breeding and breeding animals, doctor of agricultural sciences Sergey Oleinik told about the developed region in dairy cattle herd management system in accordance with the recommendations of the International Committee of animal registration (ICAR). According to him, the ICAR secretariat endorsed the work done by the institution. It was agreed to expand the modern herd management methods in dairy cattle breeding in the Russian context.

The herd management model specific breed associations was proposed by scientists of SSAU, it is a tool for success and possible cooperation with the ICAR, as well as for maintaining international trade in genetic material (embryos, sperm, calf), after obtaining the necessary certificates, in accordance with the standards of the organization.

Statements were also made head of research and diagnostic and medical-veterinary center, doctor of Biological Sciences A. Y. Krivoruchko, doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V. H. Maliyev, doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V. Y. Khorolsky, deputy. dean for Academic Affairs Hospitality business and tourism, associate professor Valentin S. Varivoda.
