The RAS were interested in research of the SSAU on the use of fertilizers and irrigation

A report on "Geographic network experiments with fertilizers in the Stavropol Region: state and prospects" was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Agrobiology and Land resources; Ecology and Landscape Architecture, Professor of the RAS Esaulko Alexander Nikolaevich at a meeting of the department of agricultural sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). He reported on the main directions of research in the fertilizer experiments, including irrigation, the achievements of the Stavropol Agricultural University in this field and cooperation with leading research institutes and organizations. Alexander Nikolaevich said that in an environment where various structures are interested in land plots of the universities and research institutes, everywhere is the absorption of agricultural test sites and hospitals settlements, with no funding, thanks to the Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Science V.I . Trukhachev, SSAU was managed not only to maintain a long-term hospital Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Plant Physiology and update the material and technical base, which allows to carry out research in the field of plant nutrition and development in innovative directions in the field of precision agriculture. In the report, Professor A.N. Esaulko also proposed directions for the development of GeoNetwork activity, in particular for the study of innovative technologies in the field of land reclamation.

The meeting branch of agricultural sciences of the Academy of Sciences was held on May 26 under the chairmanship of the Deputy Secretary Academician, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexey Anatolyevich Zavalin. The main issue of the meeting was to examine trends in the development of research in the Geography Network experiments with fertilizers. Keynote address was presented by the director of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Agrochemistry D.N. Pryanishnikov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Science Viktor Gavrilovich Sychev. Presentations were made by Academician Hramtsov I.F., corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Karakotov S.D. The meeting was attended by Academicians Vasilevich F.I., Ivanov A.L., Tikhonovich I.A., Khlystun V.N. and etc.
