Gold Medal of the IV National Championship «Young professionals» (WorldSkills Russia) on the competence of "Prototyping" in the "Technology of the Future (Future Skills)" received a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, the school head of digital 3D-technologies for students Fedor Zavyalik. The team of the Center of youth innovative creativity (TSMIT) Fablab "VECTOR" as expert-coach also entered the assistant of the department of mechanics and computer graphics" Denis Sergeevich Kalugin.
Fedor Zavyalik’s rivals were the winners of the regional championships of the cities Dubna, Moscow, Kazan, Krasnodar, Tomsk, Sverdlovsk, Kaliningrad. The competition was held by the international system of WorldSkills International. During 28 hours the members had to develop a 3D-model, drawings and produce a functional prototype of the coffee machine with the introduction of design changes, allowing qualitatively strengthen each other prototype details, edit and record the exact position of the feed control in three positions.
The results were evaluated by nine national experts from different regions of Russia more than on 250 criteria.
Fedor Zavyalik complied competition task before all 47 minutes earlier and ahead all by the number of points, beating the nearest competitor by more than 40 points.
"Fablab" Vector " is an international name of the Center of youth innovative creativity (TSMIT) of the SSAU. The basis for its creation was laid in 2009, when the strong-willed decision of the rector of the university, Professor V.I. Trukhachev for the purchase of innovative equipment sent more than 10 million rubles for the national project "Education", although they could spend it otherwise. Rector had already correctly assessed the prospects of demand for engineering and firmly took a course on the quality of training and the demand for university graduates. Similar centers have appeared in Nevinnomyssk and Pyatigorsk only a few years later", - told the head of the center Egor Vladimirovich Kulaev.
According to him, thanks to the consistent support of the university management, TSMIT of the SSAU included in the All-Russian Association of innovative art centers, where specialists of IT-area FabLab «Vector» regularly go on training and scientific forums, raising qualifications.
The laboratory is equipped with the most modern equipment for 3D-prototyping, and has 3D-printers, 3D scanners, modern milling and laser machines. The resulting practice enables the graduates to acquire the most popular and prestigious professions of the future, and the unique equipment allows them to solve engineering problems in a variety of industries.
The closing ceremony and awarding the winners of the IV National Championship «Young professionals» (WorldSkills Russia) 2016 was held at the Crocus Expo (Moscow). The competition was attended by 849 participants from 64 regions of Russia in the 99 competencies. The winners will represent Russia at two international tournaments: the European Championship EuroSkills, which will be held in December 1-3, 2016 and WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 world Professional Championship, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates from 14-17 October 2017.

The Final National Championship «Young professionals» (WorldSkills Russia) 2016 has become the biggest competition of professional skills in the history of motion WorldSkills Russia: according to the number of participants from the expert and declared competences. Let us recall that the National finals will be held in 2017 in the Krasnodar Region, and in 2018 the All-Russia championship of personnel will take place in Kazan.
During the event the competition area was visited by distinguished guests: Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Government – Olga Yurievna Golodets, the Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Viktorovich Livanov, the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Yurievich Vorobiev and Director of Department of State Policy in the field of personnel training and DPO - Zolotareva Natalia Mikhailovna.
