Medal of European Chamber for the progress in development of science and education in 2016 and Diploma di Merito were awarded to the associate professor of the Electrical engineering, automatics and metrology Department Elena Arturovna Vakhtina.
She got the award after an internship at the national scholarship program of Slovakia at the Department of Electrical engineering, automation and Informatics of the Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra.
"During the internship aimed at studying the educational methods of the European University, I was convinced that the educational process in SSAU corresponds to the European level, and we prepare professionals to work with technology of the future, tools and mechanisms that are coming to replace the outdated equipment," - said Elena Arturovna.
She noted that the difference in students is also present, but it is due to the difference in the national educational standards and priorities for selection of equipment manufacturers.
Elena Arturovna told that the work in Slovakia was conducted mostly in English, despite good proficiency in Russian among the older generation of teachers.
E. A. akhtina awarded a certificate of the European Chamber, which carries a large number of privileges, including requiring all officers to provide all possible academic help and support and can be used for both internal use and when travelling abroad.
