SSAU became the only site of the Federal Agency for Tourism for training of specialists of tourist industry in the Southern Russia

Domestic tourism shows an active positive dynamics. Competence of employees of tourist organizations is the key to high quality tourism product. Therefore, the training of specialists of tourism industry is considered as one of the priority tasks of the development of domestic and inbound tourism in the Russian Federation.

Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism) in the framework of the Federal target program "Development of domestic and inbound tourism in Russia (2011-2018) generates a list of regional educational sites of nationwide system for training and advanced training of specialists of the tourism industry by 2016. One of them, and the only in the South of Russia became SSAU, where successfully works the Faculty of socio-cultural service and tourism, with a unique base for training of specialists.

A nationwide system of training and advanced training of specialists of tourism industry "Touristic education” is formed jointly with the State University of Management. It includes the network of regional educational sites where teachers will maintain current programs of additional professional education. You will be able to study without separation from work in the remote format. 10% of students will be provided with the budget money by the Executive authority in the sphere of tourism of the region. Graduates will receive a certificate of Federal Agency for tourism about the development of additional education programs in addition to the standard document of the SSAU.

To enhance their qualifications for this project the specialists of tourist industry of the South of Russia, in particular, guides, managers, operators may apply to the authority for the management of tourism in their region with the statement for granting of the budgetary places for training.

In their turn, the specialists of the SSAU will take part in the activities of the Federal Agency for Tourism as experts, moderators, speakers, as well as through full-time and part-timel training, including the foreign platform of the System.
