Exactly in a week, on July 26, finishes acceptance of documents for entering Stavropol State Agrarian University - the best agricultural university of Russia, the only institution of higher education in the North Caucasus Federal District to hit the top 100 best universities in the country.
Today, according to the chairman of the admission committee Anatoly K. Kobyzev, continues acceptance of documents for all 32 specialties and 9 faculties. About 150 applications for 262 targeted budget places are already accepted. Average point of the unified state exam of the entrants is 55 so far. Higher points have entrants applied for the economic and accounting and finance faculties.
This year Rosobrnadzor confirmed the right of SSAU to conduct educational activities not only in the agricultural and engineering but also in economic fields as well as in the tourism and service. It should be noted that the training base of the Faculty of Service and Tourism does not leave anyone indifferent. Hotel business is studied by future tour operators and managers in the classrooms equipped as five star hotel rooms.
Actually, the rest of the faculties of the university train professionals of the future as well. Students are engaged in the most modern technology that is just starting to come into the economy and enterprise. At their disposal there are spacious, bright, well-equipped auditoriums and lecture halls, scientific library. Best students take a study course abroad. That is why graduates of SSAU are in demand. The average of their employment is one and a half times higher than the All-Russian average.
The chairman of the admission committee also said that he would like to see more of those wishing to enter the budget places in the field of "Animal husbandry" and "Technology of agricultural production and processing" demanded in our agricultural region.
The second wave of entrants is expected in the admission committee after the results of enrollment in military schools and prestigious universities of the capital.
Recall that on August 10, the best in Russia student dormitory for a thousand places will be put into operation in SSAU campus. Double hotel-type rooms with furniture and private bathrooms are being prepared for moving into. Equipped kitchens on each floor, laundry room, large dining room and an Internet café are also expecting for residents.
