SSAU teachers mastered the nicety of the international auditing standards

Training Center of the Russian Collegium of Auditors (Moscow) held its first outreach training courses "International auditing standards" at the Accounting and Finance Department of Stavropol State Agrarian University. Their participants were the auditors of Stavropol Territory and scientific-pedagogical workers of accounting and finance department.

In the course of training for 40 academic hours, students got acquainted with the topics:

1. Basic information about the International Federation of Accountants,

2. Characteristics of international standards governing the auditing activity,

3. The concept of risk-based audits,

4. International Standards on Auditing, regulating the general principles,

5. International Standards on Auditing, the auditor's regulatory responsibilities,

6. The internal control system, corporate management system of the organization,

7. ISAs governing risk assessment, audit planning and determination of significance,

8. Audit evidence

9. Quality control at the level of the audit organization.

The lecturers were certified auditors: President of the Russian Collegium of Auditors, the chairman of the central council of this organization, the candidate of economic sciences Alexander Leopoldovich Ruf, and also chairman of the Standards Committee, a member of the central council of the RCA, a certified internal auditor Natalia Svyatoslavovna Pankova.

All the participants at the end of the courses were presented with certificates.

Besides, thanks for the contribution to the development of auditing received the Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, PhD, Professor E.I. Kostyukova, head of the chair "Economic analysis and auditing", Doctor of Economics, Professor M.G. Leshcheva, Professor of the chair "Economic analysis and auditing" L.N. Bulavina.
