Stavropol State Agrarian University is recognized as a Winner of the competition for the best territory in the Leninsky district of Stavropol.

To create a green "oasis" in an urban territory, the high school has its own production base of planting material. The greenhouses are grown each year more than 300 thousand copies of flowers, which are used for decoration, such as its own territory and objects of landscape architecture of the city and the region, contributing to their image of floral notes of SSAU. In the nursery of ornamental crops educational and experimental farm of the University for this purpose are also grown tree and shrub seedlings.

On the territory of the oldest university in the province feel well over 40 species of conifers - arborvitae, pine, cyparis, junipers and others are growing and pleasing to the eye also Mexican plants which are agave and yucca. Preserved spruce and birch, which are more than 35 years. More than 300 petunia flower beds adorn the Institute of Economics and Finance.

Since last year, in the territory of the main academic building at the intersection of Peace and zootechnical alley, near the veterinary clinic, greenhouses and greenhouse complex (Serov st, d. 523), educational and experimental farm planted 1,168 lime trees, maples, poplars Chinese, catalpa. On 8 thousand square meters of flower beds adorn the approximately 80 thousand begonias, ageratum, cineraria, tagetisa, pelargonium, salvia, dahlias, lobelia. Beautify lawns and over 700 ornamental shrubs: hibiscus, forsythia, boxwood, privet aura bumalda spirea, spirea vangutta. Garden planted with cherry, pear, apple, cherry.

Every year, our University’s area expands, and with it the growing scope for creativity masters greenery.
