SSAU is a pioneer in the promotion of progressive ICAR ideology in Russia

SSAU scientists made a trip to the leading scientific-industrial and agricultural enterprises of Denmark that will give a new impetus to the improvement of the system of quality assessment of milk and dairy products, as told by the Professor of chair of private animal husbandry, breeding and breeding of animals Sergey Oleynik.

In a working trip on the largest Danish company for the production of laboratory equipment for analysis of milk, meat, forage - FOSS and its partner, the leading Danish laboratory of quality assessment of milk - EUROFINS, he traveled with a Professor of the Department of animal feeding and general biology Nikolay Zakharovich Zlydnev.

The trip took place in the framework of the research project on behalf of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation in 2016 on the theme "Development of optimal selection of technological models of cow production type, adapted for the South of Russia". The scientific head is the rector, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, doctor of Agricultural Sciences, professor, doctor of economic Sciences, honored scientist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Ivanovich Trukchachev.

During the visit some agreements were reached on the fact that our scientists, in collaboration with Danish colleagues, will develop new methods for the assessment of protein components of milk and dairy products, in particular, to increase the biological safety of milk. A Danish company will release new hardware based on the results of joint research. Also planned cooperation with FOSS in carrying out research work for the empowerment of laboratory equipment for determining fractions of milk casein. It has a special commercial significance for production of high quality products.

In addition, it is planned to develop cooperation in the sphere of education and science. So, the leading specialist of FOSS for scientific developments Daniel SCHWARTZ is willing even today to come to Stavropol to read lectures for students and practitioners of the region.

Stavropol scientists supervise the implementation of the European system of quality of dairy products based on sixteen livestock farms of the North Caucasus.
