Rostselmash and SSAU strengthen cooperation

The flagship of the domestic agricultural machine building legendary Rostselmash presented to the best agrarian university of Russia - Stavropol State Agrarian University - a brand new auditorium for the training of students of the Faculty of Farm Mechanization. The room is 90 square meters in size and decorated with modern materials in the original scheme of Rostselmash - cherry red in combination with silver-gray. The auditorium is designed for the simultaneous presence of 66 students and a teacher, equipped with multimedia facilities and furnished with modern desks and chairs. Big TV and a magnetic board make it possible to show videos and to use visual aids.

The ceremony of putting the auditorium into operation after capital repairs was opened by vice-rector of the university, Ivan V. Atanov: "Dual education is practiced at the university when students study the theory at such wonderful desks and acquire practical skills on modern machinery. We have been cooperating with Rostselmash for a long time, our graduates, well-proven in practice, are employed in this unique venture. Of the 100 scholarships allocated by Rostselmash on the program "Human Resources for Industry", exactly a quarter is received by our students. New equipped auditorium is a wonderful gift to the university and the faculty of farm mechanization to the beginning of the next study year. Now we all have to not only teach, but also to retrain professionals who want to improve their skills. "

Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory Sergey Ridnyi noted that about 80 percent of the machinery, working on the fields of Stavropol, is produced by Rostselmash. "Old technology is replaced by new, high power, computerized machines. The village really needs people who can work on them, and serve them, "- said the deputy minister.

Presentation of the equipment line manufactured by the company to students standing in admiration was held by Deputy Director of the Department of Rostselmash Valery Zabolotny. He said that the company is concerned not only with the growth in sales volumes, but also development of dealerships and service centers for breathing with power beauties. According to him, Stavropol Territory, where a number of households collected 80 centners of grain per hectare and were in the top crop in Russia, is in need of a powerful and modern technology which allows you to prepare grain in the field for the storage in the elevator.

"We need good professionals. We will introduce you tutorials, organize a tour to Rostselmash for teachers and students, to see the production process with your own eyes. You will have an opportunity to pass the practice on our database. We plan to involve students in the harvest, to keep the best for employment with a good salary. Learn, qualified professionals are in high demand, "- said the head of Rostselmash dealer center in Stavropol region, Deputy General Director of "Stavropolstroyopttorg" Igor Syrovatko. He also said that in 2-3 months the university will receive a new combine harvester of the last generation AKROS-585 to serve as a textbook.

Dean Anatoly T. Lebedev thanked the representatives of Rostselmash. He noted that the Department has "forged engineering staff" for 65 years, not less than one third of "Stavropolstroyopttorg" employees are its graduates.
