Stavropol State Agrarian University tooks an active part in the II International Investment Forum "AgroYuG 2016"

September 22 the delegation of the Stavropol State Agrarian University headed by the rector, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor VI Trukhacheva participated in the opening of the II International Investment Forum "AgroYug 2016: New opportunities for growth, transformation of business models and commercial success," which It was supported by the Government of Stavropol Territory, and the Governor Vladimir Vladimirov.

The forum brought together representatives of more than 450 Russian and foreign companies, agricultural holdings, farms, investment funds.

The discovery of a large-scale forum held the head of Stavropol Vladimir Vladimirov. Participants of the event were Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Igor Kuzin, Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Sitnikov and heads of neighboring regions: Ingushetia - Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, Karachay-Cherkessia - Rashid Temrezov, North Ossetia - Alania - Vyacheslav Bitarov, chairman of the government of Dagestan Abdusamad Hamidov , Belarusian industry minister Vitaly Vovk, as well as representatives of the governments of the North Caucasus and Southern regions, the federal authorities. His greetings to participants of the forum "AgroYuG 2016" sent a plenipotentiary representative of the RF President in the North Caucasus Federal District Oleg Belavenets and the head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdullatipov.

The key moment of the first day of the forum was the plenary session, which was made before the start of Vladimir Vladimirov. He noted that agriculture - a strategic sector for any country, it is impossible without development. "Today, we must strengthen the foundation for this growth: to move away from dependence on foreign technology, seeds, materials, to revive the potential of the domestic agro-industrial complex", - he stressed.

As part of the forum was organized by the Specialized Agricultural Exhibition "Harvest Day -2016", which was attended by all the guests. His achievements are shared and the Stavropol State Agrarian University, which by tradition is one of the main participants of the "AgroYuga".

Scientists have demonstrated SSAU mobile laboratory for the analysis of milk quality, optimal design selection and production process models such as the cows adapted to the South of Russia, the new import-substituting technology potato seeds through aeroponics. The guests of the exhibition were offered vegetables grown in greenhouses on the basis of the Agrarian University, a private breeding of wheat samples, as well as the latest stands of energy and power, mechanization of agriculture, living systems, environmental management.
