We raise the retirement literacy at the faculties of Agrarian University

It is possible to learn about the new pension formula, calculation of pension points, to increase the amount of pension, staff and students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University to help teachers of the department «Finance, credit and insurance».

All advocacy campaign is being conducted by teachers in the framework of the project «Assistance to improve the financial literacy of the population and the development of financial education in the Russian Federation».

So, a very interesting and most importantly useful exercise to improve the level of the pension and social competence for teachers and students of the Faculty of electricity held on 20th October. Associate professor of the department «Finance, credit and insurance» Alexander Gladilin conducted training on the theme: «Retirement Planning, focused on the formation of the target strategies of accumulation of funds, based on an understanding of the pension system functioning principles».

The faculty of mechanization of agriculture is no exception: on 26th October A.A. Gladilin continued advocacy to raise pension literacy among the staff and students of the faculty.

The implementation of a series of lectures «Retirement Planning, focused on the formation of the target strategies of accumulation of funds, based on an understanding of the principles of the functioning of the pension system» developed by teachers of the department «Finance, credit and insurance» in order to increase the pension literacy began with September 2016.

Within the framework of the project seminars, in which the audience learns about the details of the process of formation of a pension; on the terms of appointment of pension insurance; periods of qualifying periods of insurance; the documents required for the establishment of a pension; what errors occur in the workbook, and what consequences they may cause when assigning pensions. Also, the project participants make early assessment of their pension rights.

It should be noted that the participants of these meetings very much and manner of presentation of the material of the lecturer А.А. Gladilin. «We felt that this is a specialist who knows deeply the profession and the subject of conversation, willing and able to convey to the audience all the details of the pension legislation, are the most recent developments and innovations. All the questions that have accumulated a lot, we have received satisfactory answers» - talk about their experiences, those who seek to increase their pension literacy. Moreover, pension theme has aroused the interest and the students, and teachers.

Advocacy campaign to raise pension literacy among the staff and students of the Agrarian University, carried out in the framework of the project «Assistance to improve the financial literacy of the population and the development of financial education in the Russian Federation» will last at the Stavropol State Agrarian University until the end of this year.
