Higher agricultural education - the key to success!

Students from 18 secondary institutions of Stavropol Territory and Kuban came on a trip to the country's best agricultural university.

Faculty of Agrobiology and land resources, ecology and landscape architecture, together with the faculties of Technological Management and Veterinary Medicine on November 19 met with 280 students of secondary institutions of Stavropol and Krasnodar Territory.

Young people greeted the Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of Russia, deputy of the Duma of Stavropol Territory, honorary citizen of Stavropol Territory, Labour Hero of Stavropol Vladimir Trukhachev. In his speech, he talked about the fact that today is the flagship of the agricultural education, what are the chances of Stavropol State Agrarian University, the prospects of development of the university and its material and technical base, stressing that higher education is the key to subsequent professional success.

Before the students acted as vice-rector for additional education, associate professor Olga Lisova reported about the direction of the Institute of additional education and other active educational programs, which greatly extend the capabilities of the students during the training in SSAU.

Further communication passed in a close circle within the walls of the faculties Agrobiology and land resources, and veterinary medicine, where in front of the students were deans - Professor Alexander Esaulko and Associate Professor Valentin Skripkin, they sounded training areas in the departments and explained their specificity, and the executive secretary selection committee Associate Professor Anatoly Kobozev commented Admission rules to higher education.
