Days of financial literacy in the Agrarian University

A series of master classes for students of 2-4 years of study in the framework of the national program "Days of financial literacy in educational institutions" completed at the Faculty of Accounting and Finance of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Classes were conducted by teachers of the department "Financial Management and Banking" together with representatives of PJSC "Sberbank of Russia". Affiliate relationship between the university and the bank is successfully implemented for the past 5 years.

Students got acquainted with the peculiarities and subtleties of modern banking business, as well as adjacent areas of the Bank of Russia activities. Its staff conducted interactive workshops "Virtual Sberbank map" and "Youth Credit Card", made training "Personal financial plan. Creating a reserve for the future", "Advantages of Non-State Pension Fund of the Savings Bank of Russia" and "Opportunities of the mobile application SberbankOnline", "Customer Growth Strategy", "Remote banking services to corporate clients", "Fraud in the financial markets" and others.

Future economists were also told about the main investment principles, methods of team decision-making, rules to counter fraud in the banking sector and other basics of financial literacy.

These classes help students better understand the intricacies of banking and reasonable strategy to build their own financial behavior. At the end of each session there were tests on financial literacy. After summarizing the winners received commemorative gifts.

The project involved more than 700 students of the university.
