According to the results of the contest “Agrarian educational book” among higher education institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the textbook “Economics of an organization” was recognized as the best textbook on agricultural economics, which was written by the group of authors from the Departments of Economic Theory and Economics in Agribusiness of the Faculty of Economics.
The contest committee of the Association “Agroobrazovanie” together with the Department of Scientific and Technological Policy and Education of Russian Ministry of Agriculture summed up the results of the VII All-Russian contest “Agrarian educational book” held in 2016. In 13 nominations participated 26 specialized universities, that presented 188 textbooks and manuals published in 2014-2015. The textbook “Economics of an organization” was awarded the Diploma of III degree in the category “Agricultural Economics”. (The authors are Professor O. Kusakina, Associate Professors Y.V. Rybasova, O.A. Cherednichenko, V.V. Kurennaya, S.V. Alivanova, E.G. Agalarova, E.A. Kosinova, Senior Lecturer Yu.A. Ledneva).
The textbook was recommended by Educational Methodical Association of Russian universities on education in the field of Economics and Economic Theory for high school students enrolled in 38.03.01 – “Economics” (profile of “Economics of enterprises and organizations”). This publication was prepared in accordance with the educational program “Economics” and can be used when considering the theoretical and practical issues in the framework of the discipline “Economics of an organization”.
The training materials are presented from the standpoint of the competency approach. The study of the theoretical foundations and the study of the practical component of the training material will help to solve current and prospective economic problems of functioning of the commercial organization in various industrial branches (industry, agriculture, services and etc.).
It is recommended for students and post-graduate students of “Economics”, managers and specialists operating in different industries.
